Dining at Núcleo was an unforgettable experience. The concept is refreshingly unique — the chef continues to bring out beautifully crafted dishes until you’re full, and you simply let them know when to stop. The space feels warm and intimate, almost like you’ve been invited into someone’s home kitchen. The communal table setting fosters a sense of connection, and sharing the meal with other guests made the evening even more special. Almost all dishes were vegetarian — save for a dish with chapulines. Each dish was explained personally by the chef, adding depth and storytelling to the already incredible flavors. The food itself was phenomenal — creative, balanced, and full of surprises. Every plate felt like a thoughtful expression of seasonal ingredients and culinary artistry.

Nucleo is an incredible experience for those looking for chef-driven, passion-inspired, high quality ingredient experiences. From the cozy tables, oozing charm at every element. Candles, art and the closest thing to Copenhagen in CDMX. Beyond that, the staff and dishes were first class. You watch them make it right in front of you with the backdrop of the seat making you feel like you’re in an authentic Mexican cantina but about to be served Tier 1 Global City Chef dishes. Can’t say enough great things about this place and the lovely chef who goes out of his way to share his passion in every dish - all of which are vegetarian (and I love meat)! 10/10 and well worth the wander over from Condesa proper.
