About

In the vibrant Roma Norte neighborhood of Mexico City, Loncheria Mely stands out as a hidden gem that delivers an authentic culinary experience. This charming spot boasts a cozy and casual atmosphere, perfect for a family dinner or a solo indulgence in delicious homemade meals. Known for its amazing food quality and super friendly service, it's no wonder local art tour guides highly recommend stopping by.

Their menu features traditional delights like consume con verduras and arroz, but the real showstopper is the Castilla de puerco en salsa verde with verdolagas, offering a burst of flavor that keeps guests coming back for more. Whether you're dining in, taking your meal to-go, or enjoying it al fresco with their outdoor seating, the warmth and hospitality of the women who run this lovely place make you feel right at home.

Feels like eating your mum’s food on a cold day. Super friendly owners, and the food was amazing.

Excellent!!! This is wonderful delicious food, authentic and local. A local art tour guide recommended this spot to me and it was well worth the visit. I had consumé con verduras, arroz, and Castilla de puerco en salsa verdee con verdolagas, and everything was delicious. The salsa was super spicy but used sparingly it added a great kick! Also the prices were very reasonable. You will enjoy.
