Very kind and accommodating staff. We came in for a light meal and smelled something delicious. Despite our non-local dialect, our server eventually understood that we were asking what they were currently cooking. She brought out a sample of that as we placed our orders. The food hit the spot, but the people working there really made the experience memorable.

My wife and I stopped in for a lunch break during our visit to the Basilica of Our Lady of Guadalupe. It is located on a sidestreet closeby that doesn't get a lot of visits from tourists or pilgrims. Simple and tasty food at a very reasonable price. Fernanda was especially kind and friendly, which was unsurprising as we found most of the people we encountered in Mexico City were very hospitable and welcoming of visitors. We enjoy eating at small establishments, often even more than the high-profile and expensive restaurants that are made popular on social media.
