Wow. This was my first experience in Mexico City as a whole and I have to say, this place blew me away. I was introduced to so many new things. I came to Mexico City in particular to be in the “uncomfortable” forcing myself to speak my “beginner to intermediate” Spanish. Honestly, the workers here not only helped me with speaking Spanish but were literal teachers as well. Truly made me feel at home and helped me learn. To the true review of the place itself: beautiful storefront. Greenery everywhere, open, soft, an inviting. The workers, attentive, quick, polite. The general atmosphere of the entire place made the visit so worth it. Now the only reason I have the food that 4 start is because, my partner and I both got things. Rustic Pizza was my choice, absolutely delicious, especially paired with the on hand oils and peppers. Too good! However my partners dish, the baked chicken, it wasn’t good. Actually it was flavorless (sorry guys), it was a shock considering how crazy good the pizza was but, they gotta do something about that chicken breast…oh and the calamari was delicious too, but over cooked. Overall the food was still great. It was just the chicken that through us off, and the calarmi being a tad overcooked but still delicious like the pizza. Overall, yes I’d highly recommend this place. Oh and to new comers like me beware of lots of ppl advertising stuff. May be common but it’s my first time out here so i didn’t know, it gets annoying but you can usually politely ask them to step away. Cancino, you were worth all the time. Thanks!!!
