Надзвичайно символічний простір у серці Львова. Він поєднує літературну спадщину Кобзаря з історією України й сьогоднішньою національною ідентичністю. Монумент встановлено лише в 1990-х роках, тому він не має глибокої історичної старовини, хоч і символічно вписаний у давні традиції міста. Через зелений наліт на бронзі місцеві кличуть фігуру "жабою", що мені незрозуміло, а стелу - "відкривачкою" за її фактурну, незвичайну форму. Хоча як на мене не схоже.
