Stopped here after a long walk for a well deserved G&T and discovered they’re under new management…what an upgrade - new menu, vibes etc and Wow that sausage roll was sensational!!

My daughter had her wedding reception here on 28 th June From start to finish staff venue & food was excellent all night this will be my new party venue highly recommended 👍

Very disappointing. Sunday lunch with overseas friends the food was poor. A starter of buratta that was bad quality, stale tasting bread, oversalted and seemingly reheated meat for the main course. Also having written to the management to complain I got an acknoledgement with no offer of anything by way of redress. In the past I've liked the Vic Stakes, even having a large family function there - but it's gone off the boil and I shall be avoiding it.
