Oh man - as Public Enemy had it, don’t believe the hype. This is a perfectly adequate pub that has been overhyped. The prices are wild for a pint, and we felt no joy at watching two bar staff stand and chat and not serve as we struggled to the bar at 2.30pm on a Friday. Stayed for a pint to say we’d been - but there are pubs as good all around.
