Nestled next to the serene Crane River and surrounded by serene trees, Crane Park is a charming hidden gem. This park is where I usually run on Saturdays for the parkrun. Constructed in 1828 to produce copper lead pellets for firearms, the Shot tower is an intriguing building. Before hitting the water, the red-hot copper would fall from the top and take the shape of a ball.

Shot tower is nice, shows the history of the area. No prices are listed on the menu at the cafe so I won't know how much I'm paying, missed out on my custom a couple of times now as a result.
