Gail’s is so overrated and expensive! Latte was tepid and my muffin sticky and a little crusty in places. The Loughton branch is also devoid of atmosphere with sullen staff. And like most mention, the pastries are covered in flies and wasps!

Rather disappointing lacklustre interior here considering prominent location at a busy intersection and Gail’s proven expertise in revamping and invigorating. A subdued show here of the signature cakes, pastries and lite-bites. Accomplished ‘man sized’ coffee....(oops!) Quality is sound, while service is effective and competent, albeit the setting lacks a sense of coherence and depleted of joie de vivre.

I regularly come to this place, and love the environment. I’m always met with a welcoming smile by the staff. I have been to other Gail’s branches, but this is certainly the best one, with ample space both inside and outside. I would highly recommend this place to everyone 😊
