Very special for me as we come here with my boyfriend since we started dating. The fireplace in winter is my favorite spot.😊Love the atmosphere, staff are very friendly, prices are okay, food quality should be improved . Lovely garden next to the river in the back. I would definitely recommend the place.

We visited on a Monday evening and perhaps this was the problem? Several things not available on the menu and a lack of enthusiasm from the staff. It was a real shame as the pub is in a fabulous setting by the water and we sat outside under some really lovely apple trees-quite idyllic!

For drinks only - it s ok! but the food was disappointing. We had the Sunday Roast, which tasted bland and seemed reheated several times — I couldn’t finish it. Cleaning standards could also be improved. On the positive side, the outdoor space is really nice, and both the service and atmosphere was nice.
