I rarely leave reviews, but this bakery deserves it - the pastries, the bread, the MASSIVE croissants - everything was so delicious. When you enter, you are greeted by friendly staff and see stacks upon stacks of bread and pastries which just came out of the oven freshly baked - the atmosphere is super cozy and you feel like you are in an old lively French movie. Please give this bakery a go - i came to get fresh pastries all the way from Old Street and can say I will come again! I don’t have photos as the pastries were devoured immediately haha!

Awesome little bakery where you can watch them make bread under a train arch. Totally worth a visit. I look for excuses to get over to that neighbourhood because this place is such a treasure. The rye is excellent and they even make a pretty good oatmilk latte. Update: Years on, still the best. I've made friendly banter many times with several of the staff, the day-old bread is a bargain if you can get it, and their weekend treats are special and experimental - though a bit pricey. Still, the value is there, and it's made in the shop, even the doughnuts.

Incredible - though my waistline might not thank you! Outstanding sourdough especially.
