Number five with extra black pudding - just what the doctor ordered after a 25km run. Also enjoyed that they named the cafe after me. Swiping right on this one…

Let me paint you a word picture. Four bloody good blokes stomping the Whitechapel pavement, the sun is beating down on the backs of our necks - excited for a fantastic set breakfast we had planned. We stride up to our intended destination. CUE UTTER DISMAY - the greasy spoon (not Sam’s) is closed. Some quick thinking and frantic googling led us to Sam’s Cafe. SALVATION! A table for four quickly secured, a set 1 with extra black pudding for me on its way. From then on the delicious cups of tea and laughter flowed like the Nile, ready to burst its banks. The delectable food descended onto our table like manna from heaven. Walked in hungry, and left with a full stomach and most importantly, some memories.

It was the set 3 for me, accompanied by a tea, and what a breakfast it turned out to be. Staff were so welcoming, can’t wait to go back
