Koffman fries were 7.50 (!!!) so expected something special but they were very ordinary - a rip off, frankly. One waiter was amazing, the other terrible (she was quite snappy and said it was impossible for my daughter's burger to be served with the lettuce and tomato on the side). The chicken parm was excellent. The atmosphere was a bit dead but it was midweek, so may be better at the weekend. We won't be rushing back.

Nous avons déjeuné à Bread Street Kitchen & Bar – Battersea à deux reprises, la dernière fois en juin 2025, et c’est toujours un plaisir. Déjà, le cadre est exceptionnel ! La reconversion de Battersea Power Station est remarquable et vaut à elle seule la visite. La décoration industrielle et contemporaine du restaurant s’intègre parfaitement à ce lieu emblématique de Londres. Côté cuisine, c’est une belle réussite. Les plats sont simples, gourmands, bien exécutés, et piochent avec intelligence dans plusieurs inspirations : britanniques bien sûr, mais aussi indiennes ou italiennes. Un mélange maîtrisé qui fonctionne parfaitement. Lors de cette dernière visite, nous avons aussi remarqué que les portions étaient plus généreuses que lors de notre premier passage — un vrai bon point. Seule exception : le Butter Chicken Curry, un peu léger en quantité, et servi avec un naan vraiment trop petit, ce qui tranche avec le reste. Nous avions été plutôt déçus par une autre adresse signée Gordon Ramsay (« Street Burger », trop chère pour ce que c’est), mais ici, le niveau est bien différent : la qualité suit et le rapport qualité-prix reste correct, même si les prix à la carte reflètent le nom de Gordon Ramsay et les tarifs londoniens. À noter : il existe un menu déjeuner en semaine à un tarif très intéressant (22 ou 27 £), mais qui mériterait d’être mieux mis en avant lors du service. Le lieu est vivant, agréable, et l’ensemble donne envie de revenir sans hésiter lors d’un prochain séjour à Londres. Une adresse sûre, qui combine un cadre unique et une bonne cuisine.
