Nice traditional pub- an oasis of calm compared to Oxford Street. Lots of outdoor tables, cosy inside. Great for beer/ale drinkers, but rubbish for wine drinkers. Only one white wine available @£31.75 a bottle, prosecco £36.Beer cheap for central London- wine not!

We had dinner there. The food was great, traditional english cuisine, large portions, value for money. The beers, both drought and bottles, very good. Will definitely go back!

This is a delightful Sam Smith's pub. It is very traditional and the main bar area is split in two. There is a larger area by the bar and a smaller "snug" to one side. There is also ample seating. Being near to the BBC this is quite an historic pub. They have a very poor selection of not so good whisky (their bourbon is awful) so I opted for a 3.4% Alpine lager. Until COVID Sam Smiths was one of the cheaper pub chains, not anymore as I paid £5.60 for my pint, around the norm for the area. They do sell food. I was here at 4.30pm on a Tuesday and it was quiet. Sam Smith have some wonderful pubs but given their extremely limited product range I worry for their future. Not a pub I would return to.
