Is the Signal a pub or a playground for kids? Now i like the Signal, its a nice friendly pub, the staff are very welcoming and i understand its a family friendly pub. So today i finished work and just wanted a quiet pint on my own, in the corner. I walks in there and i see 4 empty prams all in a line. Not a good sign. I get my pint, sit in the corner not disturbing anyone. I then hear an eruption from upstairs like the ceiling was gonna come down. There was a kids party upstairs. Then a few of the kids came down on the pub floor, screaming and shouting and running around. The parents of these kids had no control of them, just let them run around like its a playground. Not the kids fault because the kids are doing what kids do but what is wrong with these parents? If i say anything to them like ' can you control your kids and remember where you are?'. All i would get is a moody look from them so i didnt bother. The bar staff, as nice as they are, didnt say nothing to these parents. I don't wanna stop going in The Signal but if kids are allowed in pubs then the parents should have more control over them and remember that the Signal is a pub and not a playground.
