I rang really late (8:30pm) to see if they had a room available and they went above and beyond to get a room prepared for my very last minute arrival. They were super welcoming both the bar manager and hotel manager - as a solo female I felt completely safe and at ease at this lovely pub with rooms. The room was comfortable and very clean, and staying on hottest day of the year I was pleased to see I had a decent fan in the room and I was given two ice cold bottles of water to take to the room. I would highly recommend and would absolutely stay again if in the area.

Food was awful. While the roasts weren't bad it was all swimming in gloopy gravy that looked past it's prime. Service was good and the pints were fresh
