Frente al tópico de que la comida británica es mala, se planta este pub. Sí es verdad que la comida típica británica de pub no es muy variada, al contrario que en otros países como España, por ejemplo. Sin embargo, sí hay platos británicos deliciosos. Por ejemplo, el steak and ale pie me ha encantado. Además, el fish and chips tiene un punto de fritura excelente que demuestra que este plato, bien preparado, no se limita a ser un pescado frito como los fritos a la romana. Personalmente, me gusta más el tipo de fritura que he degustado aquí. Además, las hamburguesas son de gran calidad y hay una notoria variedad, al igual que en las bebidas.

Great corner pub, with a good atmosphere and tasty food. However, our bartender James must have been working his first week bless him. Struggled with the taller glasses and couldn’t operate the cocktail menu! I can say he was VERY apologetic about his mistake(s).
