HANDS DOWN the best pub in east London, quite possibly the world. Any day is a good one to stop by the oak and try delicious cask ales, or perhaps indulge in some of their delicious food offerings, however my favorite day to go is a Sunday. After enjoying a pleasant morning at Columbia Road Flower Market, step into this classic pub and feel the scintillating atmosphere of true British Pub Culture rush through your veins in exhilarating fashion. The pints are reasonably priced and poured to perfection, the roasts are absolutely BANGING, (especially them yorkies), and the service is truly exemplary. Don’t miss out on the backyard garden either, when the sun is shining it is truly a luscious little corner to tuck into a decadent sticky toffee pudding. If you’re a kitchen aficionado like me you can even peek in behind the scenes and watch where the magic happens. Major shoutout to Courtney who makes the most delicious Bloody Mary’s!!!

Hosted my wedding/civil ceremony reception on the top floor private function area - would highly recommend! It's a hidden gem - great vibes, great atmosphere and nicely styled/decorated. Grace and the team were super accommodating and flexible with all requests in the lead up to the event. Staff on the day were super welcoming and friendly. Food was delicious and they have a wide selection of drinks/cocktails. Would not hesitate to host another event there.
