My roast pork dinner was awful, the Yorkshire pudding was burnt, the pork was complete with fat, even the bits I managed to eat was chewy and needed a steak knive to cut it. My husband haddock was cooked to such a crisp state he had to cut it of to eat the fish. My husband and I love to visit this our local pub in Bow, the staff are really lovely and can’t do enough for you, it always has such a lovely atmosphere. It’s a five star place to visit, but the meals are not very good.

This pub is hands down the best on Roman Road! The staff are really friendly, polite, and accommodating. Well-kept pints (clearly regularly cleaned and maintained), at decent prices. They’ve recently-ish done up the garden, which is now in great condition and catches lots of sun. The menu looks great, although we haven’t had the pleasure of dining at this establishment yet.
