It's my local and I love it! In an industry where independently owned pubs are closing every day, the Duke of Edinburgh stands proud as a proper SE London boozer. Congrats to Ferghal and Chrissie for making this a safe haven for locals and visitors alike. Come and have a pint of Guinness, a packet of scampi fries and find out what a real pub is for....a place to meet, talk and forget your worries. If you have ever watched the US TV comedy Cheers then The Duke is the British equivalent....but it's a real place not an imaginary one! Plus it's got an enormous beer garden behind so very family, child and dog friendly too. What is not to like?? Btw it's a pub so doesn't serve food so if you want to eat something go to a bloody restaurant 😊😎👍🍻🍾🍷🥃🍺
