Popped by yesterday on my own and decided to treat myself to the beef wellington. The room upstairs is lovely, the food delicious and the service friendly and professional. Be prepared for absolutely eye-watering prices with beef wellington £42, chips £6.30 and a 250ml glass of house red (campo Tempranillo) £11.30. Just shy of £60… oh and then there’s service at 12.5% bringing the total to £67.05…. For 1.

Visited here on a wet summer afternoon. Lovely old pub. Friendly staff. Did not eat as we did not have time.
