This is one of the last few genuine bars in central London. Where there's a genuine, local atmosphere and it has its own personality. It's vanishingly rare and to be celebrated and kept alive. Visit it and appreciate it.

Had been in a couple times on a saturday before but had a lovely saturday lunchtime here in june with the irish man downstairs behind the bar and the stylish black man in the flatcap who either drinks there or works there. Thoroughly entertained me before i got my train up. Wonderful lifestories down there. Will return soon.
