Great church near Euston station. The design of the church by William and Henry William Inwood (1771-1843 and 1794-1843 respectively), is based on the Ionic Temple of the Erecthium on the Acropolis at Athens with the tower based on the Tower of the Winds also at Athens. The church was consecrated in 1822. It is considered one of the most important 19th century churches in England.
