Beautiful building tucked at the end of a nice park area. The building itself is fantastic and so is the artwork inside. The staff are very helpful and Lindi a volunteer was amazing with her thought provoking stories of the children that were there. The artifacts and little films really made you think. He was a pioneer of the time and has helped shape the future. The Handel music room is lovely too. Glad I found it in a London guide book. Would go again.

A very interesting museum with beautiful music and artwork amongst it. I knew nothing about it before I went and I found myself fascinated by the ideas of what life would’ve been like for those children, parents and the workers involved. I imagine it’s difficult to obtain personal stories from people involved but it left me wanting to know more than the museum displayed/offered. I also wish it had more description about Thomas Coram it could do with more introductory information for people who come in knowing nothing about it all. In all, I do recommend but if you don’t know anything about the subject then you should probably do some research beforehand.

Whilst difficult to find as it is tucked away in a corner of Brunswick Park, the museum itself was well worth the visit, from the very welcoming staff to the amazing information and beautiful paintings, music and architecture within. Disability accessible.
