Una cosa che mi colpisce delle chiese cattoliche a Londra è il fatto che sono aperte, accessibili, silenziose, e quindi utili alla preghiera personale e per questo meritano il massimo dei punti perché assolvono al ruolo proprio di una chiesa

Très belle église, un peu cachée dans une rue près de Leicester Square. Il s’agit d’une église catholique francophone, ce qui m’a fait énormément plaisir. Étant en plein carême, je tenais à ne pas manquer les messes du dimanche, même en vacances. On m’a recommandé cette église, et j’étais vraiment ravie de pouvoir y assister dès mon premier dimanche à Londres, puis à nouveau le dimanche des Rameaux, juste avant mon départ. Un beau moment de foi et de sérénité, loin de chez moi.

This used to be a space for showing incredibly large panorama paintings. It is a shame that it was ultimately converted into a Catholic church, which is a very mediocre use of the space. However, it has a good Cocteau mural.
