I had the pleasure of dining at illforno recently, and the experience was made truly exceptional by our waitress, Ruby. From the moment we were seated, she greeted us with a genuine smile and made us feel welcome right away. Her knowledge of the menu was impressive—she patiently explained the dishes, recommended some options, and even suggested the perfect wine pairing for our meal. Throughout the evening, she was attentive without being intrusive, ensuring our drinks were refilled and checking in just enough to make sure everything was perfect. What stood out most was her friendly and professional attitude. She managed a busy section effortlessly while still making us feel like a priority. It’s rare to find service that combines warmth, efficiency, and attention to detail, but she nailed it. Thanks to her, our evening was even more enjoyable. We will definitely be coming back—and asking for her again!

I can Highly recommend this Italian restaurant if you are in Liverpool. Lobster ravioli was excellent. Lovely staff. We were going to a concert at Liverpool cathedral ( Heather Small). Only a few mins walk away. Will definitely be back.
