A good pub with a good selection of beers at reasonable prices.

Not been here for a very long time but used to be a frequent visitor so thought we'd call in as we had heard that it's had a recent makeover. Though it's been refurbished it's basic interior layout is still the same but has a different look and feel. On the ground floor they have fitted in quite a few more benches for those that like to get a suntan whilst drinking. Downstairs the interior lighting seems to have a great effect and gives the premises a more modern upmarket look. The staff were cheerful and helpful and they still have a great range of drinks.

Recently renovated(no more toilet lake) but has retained it's previous atmosphere....with the sister pub up the spiral staircase (Mayflower) it's a great spot for a couple pints 🍺
