Large bar with a great theme, open daily until 6am! 😳 It was quiet mid afternoon on a Tuesday out of academic year but I can imagine it would be very popular & some good food offers available too.

Way too loud for the happenings of the bar. People were sitting down talking or watching the TV but for some reason the music volume was genuinely painful. There doesn’t seem to be a dance floor so I don’t get the point in that at all. Food was expensive and bad. Like upsettingly bad. Salt and pepper chips which were about £1.60 more expensive than regular chips but tasted the exact same except they had raw onion, raw pepper and raw chillies in the mix which was obviously not great. Hot dog buns burnt and honestly far too expensive for the fact I’ve had better ones from swimming pools. The “chilli” on the chilli hot dog was literally just mince with some cumin in it. Saw someone else with a pizza and the cheese seemed barely cooked and was just dumped in the middle. Soft drinks were also about £3 based on the bill which is insane because they seemed to be on tap. This place could be acceptable if you’re drunk and it’s 5AM and there’s nowhere else that does food and drink + loud music because you’d be too inebriated to actually care about how much of a waste of money it is. Pointless to go here to meet up with friends for conversation or for anything before 12AM. Was very quiet actually in terms of the number of customers so maybe the loudness of the music was a way to overcompensate. So mad that I spent money here. I didn’t have any alcohol but also noticed that the beer is extortionate which just baffled me because why? Is it because at 5AM when people are desperate they’ll pay anything to the only place open? Also, no soap in women’s toilets (at 10PM with a manageable customer load) despite the “wash your hands” sticker above the sinks. Workers were nice though so feel bad for being this negative but I have genuinely not been this mad about spending money somewhere in a while. I feel like a fool for eating here and I wouldn’t blame someone for telling me I was. Maybe it was just the loudness of music which has angered me so much.
