This is a museum that has free access. There are certain interactive services that would require a payment for. They provide storage cubbies if you don't want to carry your belongings around the museum. I brought my 15 yo daughter this year, and she enjoyed it. The museum is very educational, you can walk through the banking vault, see the ruins of old Lisbon underneath, learn the history of trade and money. There are a bunch of exhibits upstairs that will be worth your time. I love the money displays where you can see different currencies of many countries, including going back to history. We didn't have too much time to peruse since we were leaving in the afternoon.
