About

At Jamra, you can savor the most delicious kebab (possibly the best in all of Krakow), and rediscover familiar dishes of Eastern cuisine.

The restaurant is within walking distance of the Józef Piłsudski monument. Jamra exudes true Syrian hospitality. The small yet cozy establishment has just a few tables, and the walls are adorned with themed images and tiles with intricate patterns in a traditional style. There are also tables outside. Additionally, you can order food to go and enjoy it on a bench in a nearby park.

The menu features a variety of dishes characteristic of Eastern cuisine. At Jamra, you can try shawarma with beef or chicken, grilled kebabs, Lula kebab, and Hash Hash — grilled lamb with vegetables and a unique sauce, wrapped in flatbread.

Special attention should be given to the platter dishes, which, besides shawarma or Hash Hash, include fries, pita bread, sauce, and a fresh vegetable salad. As a complimentary treat, guests are served delicious homemade cookies.

On hot summer days, be sure to grab a cold, tangy-salty ayran which perfectly complements the meat dishes. For dessert, you can order the sweetest baklava and strong coffee brewed in a Turkish pot.

The establishment is popular among locals, and you can almost always see a line of people eager to try authentic Syrian cuisine outside its entrance.

Jeśli mam być szczery, kebab niczym się nie wybija, wołowina ma bardzo słaby smak, kurczaka nie czuć wcale na plus pasta czosnkowa i miła pani za kasą ;)
