Кінотеатр на реконструкції

Спочатку на цьому місці в якості кінотеатру була росташована інша будівля яка була значно меньша, та була вбудована у двоповерховий будинок. Кінотеатр мав назву “Сьоме держкіно”. Під час Другої світової війни, скоріше за все ця будівля була пошкоджена, оскільки у 1947 році її відбудовували. З цього моменту настає новий період будівлі з назвою “Комунар”. У 1972 році його закрили, а потім взагалі вирішили знести. На місці зруйнованого “Комунара” вирішили звести новий кінотеатр “Київська Русь”. Дата відкриття була пов’язана зі святом — Днем Києва. Саме у цей день, 1982 року, відбулось святкування 1 500 річчю столиці. На одній зі сторін фасаду, встановили монумент засновників Києва — Кия, Щека, Хорива та їх сестру Либідь. Відкриття “Київської Русі” стало визначною датою, а також у той день він став найбільшим кінотеатром у столиці. Не працює з 2021 року бо має аварійний стан. Із 2022 року мала початися реконструкція кінотеатру...

Дуже гарна задумка, щоб показати наше славне минуле. Але зараз трохи( дуже) занедбане. Зараз дуже відповідає епосі, якій хотіли показати. Мабуть так і було десь десять століть тому. Але, якщо чесно, то навіть в такому вигляді є на що подивитися. Дуже хочеться,щоб все відводилося і наша славна історія продовжувалася багато багато століть
