For all fans of James Bond movies, the secret agent 007, they filmed the set for Casino Royale here, with Daniel Craig... The location is exceptional, but I was not a guest of the hotel. You can treat yourself to a dessert in their pastry shop.

Stay: August 3-5, 2025 Returning to Grandhotel Pupp after 35 years, we were delighted to find its opulence and charm as captivating as ever. Our room was impeccable, thoughtfully appointed with luxurious touches like a Nespresso machine and top-notch shower amenities. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, ensuring restful nights. Sipping coffee on our balcony while watching the world go by was a daily highlight. The staff’s warmth and professionalism shone throughout our stay. From seamless check-in to the indulgent spa treatment we booked, and even the attentive housekeeping, every interaction made us feel truly welcomed. No request was too much trouble. We opted to explore nearby restaurants rather than dine at the Grand Restaurant, as we weren’t dressed for the occasion and had read mixed reviews. However, this gave us a chance to discover Karlovy Vary’s vibrant dining scene. Our only regret? Not staying longer. A few extra days would have allowed us to fully soak in the hotel’s grandeur and the city’s charm. We can’t wait to return to this timeless treasure. Rating: 5/5 Cheers!
