Our entire family were thoroughly entertained/ amused by the whistle stop tour of what appears to be the Domecq HQ as abandoned in the mid 80's... Nearly all the furnishings are c 1975-85 - I think if they remake Scarface, the new Al Pacino would enjoy it as place to relax and count his £s It's a very fine building - and as one reviwer has pointed out and as far as I could make out, the only exceptional pieces are the 3 Flemish tapestries used as hall decorations. If you are an English speaker - the recorded audio accompiement is hilarious, narrated by a breathless English rose better suited to a Mills & Boon audio book " as we revel in the inspiring awe and grandeur of a staircase, simply elevating one in step with history as we ascend to the first floor...". Ok, I'm making that up, but the real version is better ( or worse, depending on one's viewpoint). Is it worth it? Not sure. No photographs - I think they are / were worried about commercial espionage or decorating tips being taken without permission Quick Yes. Mui pronto
