Matsumi ist für mich die erste Adresse wenn es um traditionelles japanisches Sushi geht. Schon beim Eintreten wird man freundlich empfangen und fühlt sich sofort gut aufgehoben. Das Interieur ist ruhig elegant und angenehm zurückhaltend gestaltet was den Fokus ganz auf das Essen legt. Die Qualität des Sushis ist beeindruckend. Jeder Bissen zeugt von höchster Handwerkskunst. Besonders die Sashimi Auswahl war ein Gedicht fein geschnitten perfekt temperiert und mit einem Aroma das man so schnell nicht vergisst. Auch der Reis ist genau richtig in Konsistenz und Würze. Der Service ist höflich aufmerksam und sehr professionell. Fragen werden gerne beantwortet Empfehlungen ausgesprochen ohne aufdringlich zu sein. Man merkt dass hier Erfahrung und Respekt für die japanische Esskultur im Mittelpunkt stehen. Die Preise sind dem Niveau entsprechend absolut gerechtfertigt.
