We had dinner at El Local, a tapas restaurant by a tennis court in Hamburg Blankenese nearby. Really great food, wine, wonderful hosts, and lovely conversations — highly recommended. At the end, a walk through the Hirschwald. Beautiful old trees — also highly recommended. Greetings from the Netherlands 🇳🇱

We called ahead and we were told to just come in, and I'm glad we did. The style of food is Spanish tapas and we had a wide variety of dishes, dates in bacon, buratta with fried grapes, caramelized funnel to name a few. Wonderful location, good wine and excellent food, the owners who cook and serve are friendly and genuinely interested in their guests For us it was an (hidden) gem at the edge of Hirsch park in district Blankenese. Would definitely go here again!!
