Am vergangenen Montag suchte ich dieses Café auf, um mir vor meiner Abreise aus Hamburg noch etwas Gutes zu gönnen. Die junge Dame hinter der Theke begrüßte mich freundlich, zauberte mir einen herrlichen, wenngleich für mich ungewohnt starken Cappuccino (der eigene Geschmack variiert ja auch je nach Tagesform), der wiederum wunderbar mit dem klassischen Croissant harmonierte. Sowohl die Bestuhlung als auch die Beleuchtung sowie Gestaltung der Wände gefiel, mal abgesehen von der Musik, die zur Abwechslung keinen Einheitsbrei spielte. Nur die hohe, nahezu unverputzte (Beton-)Raumdecke selbst stellt einen ziemlich heftigen Bruch zum sonstigen Stil dar. Besonders toll dürfte die Außenbestuhlung bei trockenem, freundlichen Wetter sein.

Wir lieben die Mandelcroissants und Schoko-Mandelcroissants dieser Bäckerei! Meistens nehmen wir sie mit, aber manchmal genießen wir sie auch direkt vor Ort zusammen mit einem leckeren Kaffee in gemütlicher Atmosphäre.
