The restaurant has a pretty outdated look, but if you’re just there to eat, it really doesn’t matter. The owner is quiet and direct. There’s minimal small talk, but he’s friendly in his own way and keeps things efficient. You write your order on a slip of paper, he tells you how long it’ll take, and everything runs smoothly. The food comes out quickly, the portions are generous and it tastes exactly how sushi should. I always order nigiri here and like to try different types, the quality is consistently good, and everything is well-prepared. I usually go for takeaway, but it’s a solid choice for dining in too.
