Anche se si chiama Osteria, di rustico ha poco, non aspettatevi un posto alla buona, è invece un ristornate e molto curato. Il locale è situato nel centro storico di Genova, in un "basso" cioè nei locali commerciali e magazzino della città vecchia, con i classici soffitti a botte e le colonne di sostegno da cui deriva il nome. Arredamento curato. Siamo stati per una cena tra colleghi per caso e ci siamo trovati divinamente: ottimo servizio del personale di sala, piatti eccellenti ispirati dalla tradizione culinaria genovese e impiattamento davvero bellissimo, ricercato e sofisticato. Difficile che l'aspetto vada di pari passo con la bontà ma qui è successo. Da menzionare poi il finale di cena con il liquore alla salvia e la sua particolare consumazione.
