La villa est emblématique des villas génoises mais les 2 derniers étages étaient fermés à la visite fin août 2025… sans mention claire au guichet, ni réduction !

La Galleria nazionale di Palazzo Spinola somma il fascino della dimora gentilizia alla bellezza delle collezioni artistiche. L'edificio fu costruito alla fine del cinquecento secondo i canoni dell'eleganza nobiliare, con cortile, sale di rappresentanza affrescate, decorazioni e arredi sfarzosi. Nel 1958 gli ultimi eredi della dinastia Spinola donarono il palazzo con le sue collezioni artistiche allo Stato italiano, e così nacque il museo-raccolta della Galleria nazionale.
