I visited Insomnia Café in Galway today and was disappointed with the service. All the tables were dirty, and when I politely asked a staff member to clean one, she seemed annoyed and just kept saying, “We’re closing soon.” She did clean the table and take my order, but later told other customers they were closing with a look that basically said, “Get out.” I understand staff can be tired at the end of the day, but that shouldn’t affect how customers are treated. Good service means staying polite and professional. Personal issues shouldn’t be passed on to customers. I hope management takes this seriously. Experiences like this are why people stop coming back.
