Best Chinese in Galway no argument to be had

I’ve been a customer since 2008, and I’ve never been disappointed. Even though I’ve moved away from Galway, I always make sure to visit Golden Mountain whenever I’m back on holiday. The service is always warm and welcoming, and the food is absolutely delicious.Just like always, the food we ordered today was a hit with the whole group of friends. Both the beef, the chicken, and the prawns were absolutely delicious.

Today was my 1st time ordering from here, I ordered on the phone for collection, (only a mini box and some chips) left 10 minutes after ordering and it was at least a 10 minute drive, once we arrived the food wasn't yet ready and was an additional 10 minute wait, maybe my standards are just high but a restaurant with freshly cooked dishes wouldn't take this long. The lady also charged me an extra 2 euro just cos I asked for a bit of extra veg and spice to be added to the chips ( this already comes on the spicy chips) On the flip side, the portions were quiet large so you do get your moneys worth with the portions sizes, the food id give a 6.5/10 overall, definitely good enough to quench the craving for a Chinese but it wouldn't be nominated for any awards, the food lost the points as it was thick and dripping with grease, constructive advice, please let chips and food drain when lifting them from the fryers.
