Popped in today craving an almond croissant—it’s usually nice, and all your pastries/food are brilliant. You walk in, see all those fresh, baked goodies on display… but instead, I got handed some older croissant from the back counter, where you can’t see what’s there ... When I got home, it just wasn’t as fresh as I expected. if you’ve got pastries that are still good but maybe not fresh enough to sell at full price, why not sign up with Too Good To Go? Many cafés in Galway are already doing it—it helps avoid waste and gives customers a fair deal instead of charging full price for something a day or two old....
