Die längerer Strasse hat mein Herz berührt zu sagen, es war einfach wie ein Traum ❤️

Oh je, die Frankfurter Altstadt. Sie wurde 1944 schwer zerstört, der Wiederaufbau erfolgte in den 1950,60ger Jahren. Diese neuzeitliche Bebauung ist sowohl am Römerberg, als auch in der gesamten Altstadt gut erkennbar und schmälert das gesamte historische Ambiente unter heutigen Gesichtspunkten deutlich. Es gibt heute wahrlich schönere Altstädte in Deutschland. Am schönsten ist es am und um den Hühnermarkt, dieser war lange Zeit gar nicht mehr existent, in den 2010er Jahren wurde der historische Platz wieder hergestellt. Östlich des Doms gewinnt dann die neuzeitliche Bebauung die Oberhand. Kleiner Tipp: Schöner und authentischer ist es dann doch auf der anderen Seite des Mains, in Sachsenhausen.
