We visited The View and met the bartender Charlie. He welcomed us and recommended choices of drinks and appetizers. He recommended my wife have the Hugo Spritz and it was incredible. We also enjoyed chicken bites with Korean sauce and tomato basil/ squash soups. Overall service and food EXCELLENT! Great area to enjoy the scenery! The noise factor is a bit high but there are plans to expand the glass partition in the near future which will definitely improve reducing the sound from the M5. Highly recommend.

We booked dinner at The View Restaurant at the Courtyard Marriott in Exeter to celebrate our daughter’s graduation — and we couldn’t have made a better choice. From the moment we arrived, the service was outstanding — warm, professional, and genuinely friendly. The atmosphere was relaxed yet refined, perfect for a special occasion without feeling overly formal. A special mention must go to Chef Matt Mason, whose culinary expertise truly made the evening unforgettable. The tomahawk and T-bone steaks he prepared were nothing short of divine — perfectly cooked, beautifully seasoned, and full of flavour. You can tell real care and passion went into every detail. In fact, the steaks were so good, we’re convinced he could convert a lifelong vegetarian with just one bite (or at least seriously tempt them!). Combining the friendly ambiance, exceptional service, and truly delicious food, dining at The View was an unforgettable experience. Highly recommended — we’ll definitely be back!

Last Friday, we enjoyed a Musical 🎶 Evening. On the 8th. Floor Also Food in the Restaurant. Well worth a Visit.
