Absolutely fantastic meal here last night, 30th Aug 24. We were a table of 8, 4 kids4 adults. I shared a shelfish seafood platter which was incredible so much quality fresh muscles, prawn, welks l. But the lobster was the best bit . All in a delicious garlic butter. Lots there. The other adults had had a steak.and fish and chips and highly rated their meals for it's quality, portion freshnest Kids demolished their mac and cheese. Additionally we had some dessert. The banoffe wasted best I have ever eaten. The service matched the quality of food. Drink choice waas also of a good standard with fantastic variation of wines and some cask ales. Maddy (i think her name was) was tentative, helpful and friendly. Give her a pay rise! The pub it's self is an very old building with so much character, and low beams (no problem for me) We will certainly return when we next in Dawlish area.
