I live in Pittsburgh but visit my daughters in DC very often I have always bragged about Compass Coffee in my neighborhood of Fox Chapel, especially at my favorite coffee shop there. But I was very disappointed with the young lady who took my order at the Georgetown establishment on Monday, May 19 around 9:40. I had an online $5.00 off for my birthday and had some questions about it. I am 65 and not very good with online deals. She treated me like it was a disposition for her to explain it to me. I ended up not using my coupon but paid with a credit card and mentioned to the young lady that some older people weren’t raised with computers and she might consider being a kinder person. I am hoping she never serves me again.

Pretty good coffee shop! The location is amazing, right in downtown Georgetown. The coffee was pretty good, and the muffin was good too. Both were pretty expensive though. The inside was adorable, but seating is rather hard to get. They have two bathrooms which is very nice, and the staff was also great. I think the biggest shock was that RFK Jr came in. That was when I found that Compass Coffee is an outward supporter of him, so do with that what you will.
