Great service. Great food. Great wine list! Tiny place, so make a reservation well in advance.

This was my absolute favorite dining experience in Venice. I happed upon it on accident on the way to the Guggenheim and I was drawn in by the funky, experimental menu items. I had a beautiful orange wine (actually I think it was technically a Ramato as the server specifically stated that there were no orange wines on the by-the-glass section of the menu), the oysters which were garnished with a delicious, creamy anise-embellished mousse, the black tea bergamot eggplant tortelli (a flavor explosion of earl grey and lemon zest), and a tiramisu (the base was exceptional which made all the difference… i love a substantial biscuit to contrast with the softness of the other layers). the servers were excellent and the ambiance was perfectly cozy. my only critique is that the tortelli (while absolutely mouthwatering in flavor) would have been better al dente. maybe it was softer/slimier because of the hot tea it was submerged in. incredible experience!
