came here for both dim sum lunch (Friday 11:30am) and dinner (Sunday 6pm). I enjoyed the dim sum more. the service is much better compared to other Chinese places. Service is polite, prompt on requests (iced water, hot sauce, check) but hard to flag down when the restaurant is full. when we sat down for dinner, there were no menu on the tables. it was being contributed to other tables that was reserved. I had to go up to the cashier lady to ask for the menu which she brought to us. they mostly have larger tables. We were a party of 5 so we sat at the most inner left corner of restaurant which made the duration of the meal feeling very stuffy and hot. for the dim sum, the pork liver was probably the best dish. pork liver was soft. the beef rice roll, the skin roll is a little too thick. beef ball was very soft and mild tasting. Fried pumpkin with salted egg was okay, I didn’t like the batter and not much salted egg taste but the pumpkin is soft. chicken feet was sweet. the mixed beef organ is another okay dish, not tender enough for elderly with no teeth. the fried pork dumpling didn’t have much filling. my dad did enjoy the black sesame dumpling and the pork dumpling ( I didn’t try). no condiments on the table for both dim sum and dinner so I asked for hot sauce which they promptly brought to me. dinner, overall the dishes very sweet or too salty. crab meats with fish maw soup had barely any crab meat, soup tasted only of salt so not flavorful. the best dish is the fried squab, tender and very tasty. beef cube with mushrooms, too salty. steamed chicken with ginger green onion sauce was tender and tasty but a little over salted. big pea sprout was okay, a little tough but maybe the sprout is out of season. Combination seafood clay pot with overly salty and had a sweet taste too, walnut shrimp didn’t have much mayo and too sweet but the shrimp was cooked just right. giant clam was tender but a little bland. they gave us free dessert, green bean soup (I didn’t eat it) but my family said not too sweet which is how Asian like their dessert. there is an automatic 18% tip added for a party of 6 but since we only a party of 5, tip was self added by us. they came to change our plate mid meal but only to two of the plates on our table. metered and residential parking. Residential parking was easier for me. the place is fairly big but the tables arrangements is a little tight. it was noisy and there was a guy next to our table who was the loudest in the whole restaurant.,he was very obnoxious and made it unpleasant to have to hear him throughout our meal (our party and his arrived at the same time).
