I went there for the first time last night after recently moving from Dulwich to Eltham I found the pub lovely and the pizza good nice mix of friendly people had no problem with the bar staff drinks of food or atmosphere, will be back soon and get a cab next time and listen to the live music

Just moved in to the area. Did a Google maps "pubs near me". This is the closest. Very friendly welcome from the staff, a pint of Brixton cold harbour, all is well. I'm coming Tomorrow to play in the open mic, should be fun 🙂. There are lots of other music things going on in the week. I'll come down for a butchers this weekend.

Am not a frequent patron but even less now as somewhat one-eyed politically which can lead to a dull atmosphere. No problems with the landlord - Woolwich is a tough area and I think he has turned the pub around. Bar staff are always friendly. Needs a more mixed crowd for me to visit more.
