The food was fantastic and the atmosphere was wonderful. I would say it’s not worth the price for the quality and the service was fine but nothing exceptional.

I stopped by here as a gig I was going to was running late. So unplanned. I quickly looked at the Michelin guide app and found this place around the corner. It did not disappoint. Firstly, the staff there were lovely. The head of the staff was very confident and friendly - he made me feel like I was in good hands and I was confident the meal was going to be great. Menu arrived quickly along with the specials and they were quick in taking my order. I ordered the tomatoes, anchovy and walnuts starter dish, the pork main and the basque cheesecake. Every single one was fantastic. The flavour in the starter was unreal. The only thing to make it better would be a small portion of bread to soak up the beautiful tomato juice left over on the plate. The pork main was amazing. The meat was perfectly cooked and seasoned. The corn base was very inventive and the mustard? Seeds gave the dish a proper kick. And who doesn’t love a basque cheesecake?? I’m not usually in this part of london but if I ever am again, I’ll definitely be back and recommend others to try.

We had our wedding meal in the private dining room upstairs and had the lovliest evening. Sam and team were super accommodating, helpful and responsive in the lead up. The food was fantastic- the slow braised lamb was highly praised by all. Delicious range of fresh starters as well. I also want to give a particular shout out to Julie - she looked after us so well and dealt with any request like nothing was too much!! So big thanks to her. Would defo recommend and we will be in for the delicious orange wine and food again soon!
